MDPong app — last updated: 5 August 2026
MDPong is a free game published by Diouma Diallo. This page explains, in plain language, what data the app handles and why. The principle is simple: the game works with no account, no sign-up and no internet connection.
1. Data we collect ourselves
None. MDPong has no server of its own. We never receive, store or access any data about you.
2. Data stored on your device
The following stays exclusively on your iPhone or iPad and never leaves it:
- your high scores (score, game mode, difficulty, match duration, longest rally, date);
- your preferences (sound, haptics, ball trail, difficulty, target score, control style);
- a few progress counters (games played, wins).
It is stored inside the app's private container (UserDefaults and a JSON file in the
Application Support directory). Deleting MDPong erases it permanently. You can also wipe
it any time from “High scores” → “Reset”.
3. Advertising
MDPong shows a single banner ad at the bottom of the home screen, never during a match. It is served by Google AdMob. To deliver those ads, AdMob may process:
- device identifiers (including the IDFA advertising identifier, only if you allow it);
- usage and ad interaction data;
- coarse location derived from your IP address;
- technical device information (model, iOS version, language).
This processing is Google's, not ours. Details: How Google uses data and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Your consent and choices
- GDPR / ePrivacy consent. On first launch in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, a Google (UMP) consent form lets you accept or refuse personalised advertising. You can change your mind any time via Settings → Ad privacy inside the app.
- Tracking (ATT). iOS separately asks for permission to track your activity. If you decline, the advertising identifier is not used and ads stay non-personalised. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- What does refusing change? Nothing about the game: every feature stays free and available. Only ad relevance differs.
5. Children
MDPong is not directed at children under 13 and asks them for no personal data. Ads are configured to be suitable for general audiences.
6. Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. For data processed by Google, please use the links above. You remain in full control of local data at all times: reset button in the app, or uninstall.
7. Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a new update date.
